About IAC and ACCA Partnership

The Institute of Administration and Commerce (IAC) is delighted to inform you that we have entered into a partnership with The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) whereby holders of either our Higher Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting and Higher Diploma in Financial Accounting can register with ACCA; and be eligible for the BSc degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University without duplicating effort.

As holders of our Higher Diplomas; you qualify for four (4) exemptions with ACCA; leaving you with five (5) more subjects to be eligible for the BSc degree.

You will be exempted the following subjects:

The following subjects should be attempted and passed for you to then qualify for the BSc Degree:

The ACCA now has four examination windows each year (March; June; September; and December), and as such you should be able to complete the examination requirements for the degree within a year, and hopefully proceed to register as a public accountant with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB). This would enhance your marketability and also help strengthen our voice in the profession.

ACCA registration forms are available at our IAC offices or we can send them to you online. For more information you may contact the IAC OR ACCA offices in Harare.
